| Ben's Half Yard House
|
| Address: 7102 Greenville Avenue Ben's Half Yard House (Dallas) TX, Description: Once upon a time, twelve years ago, a red-haired cowboy happened upon a Chicago-style restaurant (in Garland, Texas) called Chuggs. Inside was Debra, a "grillologist", serving up delicacies from the Windy City. They fell in love but instantly went their separate ways, Ben to be a Navy Seal and Debra to New York to pursue her career. Four years later, after major frequent flier miles, they decided to move to Dallas and open the greatest Pub and Dinner Theater. Deb and Ben wed the day before opening the Medieval Inn and spent their honeymoon there. After much success, many loyal customers and two children, Ben and Deb got the seven-year itch. Being a cigar lover, Ben wanted to create a place where he could enjoy a good smoke. On the other hand, Deb wanted a place where people could relax, shoot pool and watch the games on the big-screen TV's. They both got their way. Along with these many changes came the birth of a new name to honor Ben and their famous drinking glass: Ben's Half Yard House. We sincerely hope to see you all at Ben's, crowded around the bar, on the patio, shooting pool, watching the games, eating a burger, drinking a brew, and having a smoke. Whatever you like, we're glad you're here.
